A limited-scope synchronization license that permits a film or other audiovisual work to screen at film festivals for a defined period (often 6–12 months) and territory. Fees are lower than for full commercial release because usage is restricted; if the project later secures theatrical, streaming, or broadcast distribution, the producer must upgrade to a broader sync and master license.
