One‑Stop (Licensing)

A licensing scenario in which a single rights holder – or a single entity representing both sides – controls both the publishing (composition) and master (recording) rights to a piece of music. Because all permissions are cleared “in one stop”, music supervisors and advertisers can secure a track quickly and at a single, bundled fee. One‑stop catalogues are especially attractive for tight production schedules or lower‑budget projects where lengthy negotiations with multiple rights holders would be impractical.
